Next steps after your Application is made:

1. GE Money will call you within 60 mins.
Your application will be assessed and they’ll call you within 60 minutes (if you have applied between 9am and 4pm, Mon to Fri, EST) to confirm any details, advise the outcome of your application and if successful, arrange your loan documentation.

2. You may need to provide some extra documentation

If your application is successful, below is a list of documentation GE Money may need from you to complete your loan:

  • Identification: typically a current Drivers Licence or Passport
  • Proof of Address: for example a Utility Bill or Rates Notice
  • Bank Statements: such as Savings Accounts, Personal Loan or Credit Cards
  • Income Documents: two recent, consecutive Payslips or if you are Self Employed, two years individual Tax Returns and a Notice of Assessment.
  • Personal References: the name, address and phone number of two referees, typically a family member and a friend.

3. Signing the loan contract
Next, GE will send your loan contract to you by secure email or express post.

4. Obtaining your funds
Once GE Money receive your signed and completed loan contract, together with any other documentation or information they request from you, GE Money can disburse your funds to you. This will be via cheque or overnight electronic bank transfer directly into your account. You could have money in your account the evening you applied, if GE Money have received your application before midday, Monday to Friday.
